Building example: The new museum/ Rolex Learning Centre

Her architectural philosophy is :”Architecture is a media of communication between a man and the city.

1.Building a platform for people in contact with the city

2.Simple,transparent and good use of space, to make people, architecture and environment together as one.

3. Interactive design.  She uses lots of open space, free plan and translucent wall to communicate between spaces.

Building example: Yoyogi National Gynasium

“Architecture is frozen music”he said

1.He thought the building is a combination of technology and humanity.

2.The traditional elements in building design works as a catalyst in chemical reactions, it can accelerate the reaction, but disappeared in the final result.

3. Building reflects creativity, imagination and culture insights.Combination of the basic elements of modern architecture and traditional japanese architecture.

4.Solid , durable architecture in the threaten of world war II. Also represents the spirit of tenacity.

The sketchup model has been uploaded to 3D warehouse last sunday. Named :"ARCH1101 EXP1 2013 SHINYA KIMURA & ANTONIO STRADIVARI by Tony Jin"

I had to delete the landscape and some components to make the file less than 10M, Only have the architecture and a few 2d person to demonstrate the concept.

Top Level Animation

Animation shows my top level design, By using "section plan animation" cut through the front facade, to demonstrate the relationship between curtain wall and shading screens. also shows the interior structure, and how the stairs connected between floors.
